Why is my refund lower

My IRS says my refund minus what I owe them is 6,175 why is sbtpg only depositing $3,799 that's a huge difference.

TurboTax gets no information from the IRS after you file your return. No one at TT knows why the IRS is reducing your refund. The IRS will mail you a letter in a few weeks to explain. Perhaps you owe back tax or child support?

They already took what I owed the amount $6,175 is AFTER they took what I owed
