If you filed in January you filed really early, since the IRS did not begin to accept returns until January 28, except for a small test batch. The very early returns are often subject to extra scrutiny, reviews, and identity verification requests in order to prevent fraud and identity theft, so filing early is not necessarily a way to get an early refund.
First, make sure your return was accepted:
If it was accepted, what does it say on the IRS site? https://www.irs.gov/refunds
TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 20a of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund.
