Why Haven't i received a refund

If you print and mailed your return it usually takes 6-8 weeks for the IRS to process your return. You can track your paper file 4 weeks after mail date using the IRS, "Where's My Refund" tool. https://www.irs.gov/refunds

If you e-filed your return, check your e-file status to verify that your return was transmitted successfully to the government. Refer to link to check your e-file status:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

If you still wish to e-file,

  1. Sign into your TurboTax account(if not already)
  2. Click on Take me to my return or Pick up where you left off
  3. Click on the File tab and follow the on-screen instructions until you get to the Transmit your return button. Remain on the screen until you see the message Transmission Successful!
