Why does the irs website say my information doesn’t match when I go to look up my refund I filed over 3 days ago and it says they accepted my return

I put all the information from my tax return please my direct deposit information....Still say does not match their records....my direct deposit isnt on my tax return i was trying to use my chime account ...

Mine is saying the same thing.  I tried to make an irs account and is saying my information doesn't match also.  My info hasn't changed in over three years.  Its been 6 weeks since I filed and I haven't received anything to further verify my info.   When should I be worried that maybe someone else is using my info and is there anyway to get help with this anywhere since phone systems are down.  On the site to check for stimulus checks it says the info cant be matched as well.  I'm worried.

@EbonyL122824 Ok, so I'm having the same issue on the IRS2GO app checking the status of my refund. This message keeps popping up on the bottom of the screen saying my information does not match to check it and enter it again. I've input all the information correctly and rechecked it over and over. I went to the website and it said the same thing. The website then gave me the option to put the date I filed and when I did that they said they would review it and get back to me in 24 hours. I filed April 8th, 1 week ago and I checked the app everyday. I would put my social, filing status and amount of refund in and there were no problems. It would always say that they received my return and they were processing it. Underneath it is said code 152 I believe. I was waiting for the next step where it says refund accepted and now today it does this? I just don't understand? It's freaking me out and I just want to know what is going on??!??

It did that to me for a while. Then, it began working again. So idk what the problem is/was. I filed March 15th and still haven’t gotten my refund. Got no notices in the mail or anything. So idk why I haven’t gotten my refund yet. Last year I got a manual review that held up my refund for 3months. So, I didn’t think I’d get manually reviewed again. You can’t call the IRS because their call centers are closed down. If I were you I’d wait and try again in a day or 2 you can also call the refund automated hotline that should have your info even if the website isn’t working.

It’s so frustrating. I haven’t received my refund or any letters from the IRS either. They say they are still processing refunds but, their call centers are closed. I’m hoping now that the stimulus thing is done they will begin actually processing refunds. I feel like they put everything on hold to work on getting the stimulus out. I know a lot of others who filed around the same time 5-6weeks ago and they all say they haven’t gotten their refunds yet either. I guess we just wait. Unless you get a letter or something.

I got my refund in feb early march. I'm  waiting on the stimulas check when I got to the irs site to check it says my info doesnt match what exactly do I need to put in I tryed just my fedral refund and all. it's the same account and routing number as when I filed

I still haven't received my stimulus check TurboTax needs to get it together and give our information to the IRS and quit telling everyone they already have it and everytiEv I get on check my payment it tells it can't verify my information has anyone else had this

I don’t believe it’s a Turbo Tax problem. I got my stimulus last week just fine. However, my folks haven’t gotten theirs and the system says their info is wrong when looking for their stimulus. I still haven’t gotten my tax refund. I filed 3/15
