Hi. I am in the process of refinancing my home. The lender needs a copy of my 2016 1040 original tax return, before it was amended. How can I access this?

Why do they? Your amended return replaced the original (which is no longer valid).

Unless you saved the original 1040 as a separate file, it was overwritten when you amended.
