Why didn't I get all of my deposit for the refund turbo tax stated was approved?

If the IRS adjusted your refund you will get a letter of explanation.

It can take several weeks.  But FYI-  Are you just looking at the federal refund amount on your 1040 line 35a?  At the end Turbo Tax showed you the total refund for federal and state combined.  But they come separately at different times.  

How much is missing?  Did you select to have the Turbo Tax fees deducted from your refund?  There is also a $40 Refund Processing Service charge for that.
