TurboTax does not get any information about the actual refund dates. TurboTax will give you an estimated date based on the fact that the IRS says most filers get their refunds within 21 days of when they file their return. Some take longer.
If your tax return includes EITC or Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS is prohibited by law from sending refunds for the filers before Feb. 15.
