Why did it go from accepted to pending

accepted only means that when submitted the initial check did not find any reason to reject the return. the return still has to undergo full processing. Until that is finished it will be pending. Turbotax does not get any info after it's been accepted. If it's pending more than a few days you'll have to call the IRS for the reason.
