Why am I missing over 1300 from my refund?

After contacting 2 different TurboTax representatives no one wants to answer why they stole 1370 dollars from my refund. They also sent me to their 3rd party (TPG) which is just an automated system. They are also the one who direct deposited the money. I have contacted the IRS and also have access to my IRS transcripts online I see exactly what the IRS sent me but TURBOTAX wants to pretend like they don’t know what happened to the money. I will not stop calling I will stop posting I will not stop complaining. My fees shouldn’t have been over $255 so why no one can tell me where the rest of the money is, is just ridiculous!! Who else can I contact??

Does the IRS website indicate that you were sent less than what was reported on your federal tax return Form 1040 Line 34? - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

 

If so, you will need to wait for the IRS to send you a letter which will have the changes the IRS made to the return which changed the refund. If you disagree with the IRS there will be a procedure in the letter to dispute the IRS changes.

 

TurboTax does not receive any kind of tax refund, federal or state.


If not, and you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.
