Where’s all the money?

This is ridiculous. 

I had stumble by coincidence on a video of someone saying that turbotax was shorting people on their refunds this year. this had jogged my memory that i hadn’t looked if i received my refund yet from turbotax. I take a peek into my bank account and sure enough, i’m missing $1,928 from my federal refund. 

I have been using turbotax for going on 4 years now and i most definitely will not be using it going forward and i DEFINITELY will be pursuing action against turbotax until i receive my funds.

and TurboTax support offers no help WHATSOEVER

Honestly you are lucky to have gotten anything at all. Ive seen horror stories of people never receiving tens of thousands. I saw someone say if you receive the money it is you agreeing that's all that is owed to you. 

But don't have your bank return the rest because they will just try to absorb it all ( in my opinion based on what Ive seen and what I'm currently going through). Don't spend any of the money and make contact with the financial group to try and get them to correct it. Who sent you the funds? SBTPG?
