Do you mean your refund?  If so, and if you requested a paper check, it will be sent to the address listed on your tax return.

Yes my return.  I asked for a check and my return was sent to someone’s acct.  I didn’t even have an account to enter.  I still haven’t gotten my $. The it’s said they would investigate. Not a word from them in 4 months.

@B stockstill  You just posted your question to a thread that is years old.   Do you mean that you tried to use someone else's bank account for a direct deposit for your tax refund?   You should not ever do that.  The bank will reject the deposit and send it back to the IRS.   Then the IRS will issue a check and mail it to the address on your tax return.

 

Do you even know if the refund was issued?   Did the IRS refund site show that the refund was issued?
