If you e-filed using TurboTax, you will receive a notification from TurboTax (email or text) when the IRS has accepted your return. TurboTax has no access to your return after it's transmitted to and accepted for processing by the IRS. 

To check the status of the refund directly with the IRS, visit this IRS webpage.

If you set up an Online Account for Individuals, you can access your individual account information including balance, payments, tax records and more.
