Where is my refund?!? Still no refund since Feb 2nd

I filed my tax return February 2nd, it was accepted the same day. I claim both eic and child tax credit, so this year my tax return went under review. My tax returns have been the same since I started doing them 5 years ago, except a change in jobs.

W2s are the only thing on my tax return there’s nothing else I file on it. So it’s a "simple" tax return. I had to wait til February 15th to find out they held it for review and I received a letter asking me to provide proof of my children, and income. I did. That was March 7th when I sent it by fax. It’s now September and I still haven’t received an update from them and still haven’t received my refund. Is anyone else in the same boat? I talked to someone at the IRS Thursday and they said there is absolutely no reason it should be taking this long and I should have gotten it by now, she was going to put in a referral for them to look into my tax return at the exam office.
