Where is my refund (I know this gets asked a lot)

HI, 

My refund was approved on 3/13 and my tax transcript for 2024 was updated with refund issues on 3/15 with the refund issue date of 3/19. The tax code by it is 846 and there is no offset tax codes on the transcript. It is 3/20 and I don't see any sign of the refund, I don't have an email from turbotax and I checked the bank associated with TT when you elect to get the refund 5 days early and they don't have a record of a refund in that system. I know that everyone says to give it 1 to 5 days after it says refund is sent, but I just want an idea of when I can expect the refund? When I saw 3/19 refund issued, I was expecting the refund within a day or two of that date and I googled it and that is about right with no codes from the IRS to contradict that assumption, Being that is 3/20 and there is no inkling that it will be soon based off the IRS site saying refund approved but not sent, no email from TT, and the bank from TT does not even show me in the system. It is confusing and frustrating when you do get an email saying your refund was approved a week ago and the tax return says refund issued 3-19 and the date that shows up on your transcript was 3-15. Please help me understand this and if anyone can give me a ballpark eta, that would be great.

Sorry, I didn't tell you all when I submitted, and the IRS accepted. That date was 3/7

Talk to the IRS. This is their process.

For what it is worth I have always found direct deposit of refund to be prompt once approved.

During this time of year, getting ahold of someone at the IRS has been challenging. That is good to know about the direct deposit being quick. I setup the direct deposit, 5 days earlier option with TurboTax. Hoping for some good news soon.
