Iamended it Feb 2 after my initial refund and it was 88.00 more

Did you prepare an amended return Form 1040X and mail it to the IRS along with any other changed forms?  An amended return cannot be efiled.  It has to be printed, signed, and mailed.    It takes the IRS up to 16 weeks to process an amended return.

Three weeks after you mail your amendment, you can start tracking its status at the IRS Where's My Amended Return? site or by calling their automated number 1-866-464-2050.

Please note that it can take 12-16 weeks to process your amendment.
