To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2023 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
Lenders sometimes have surprisingly little understanding of tax returns, considering that they look at tax returns all the time. It's not unusual for them to make unreasonable requests. Many loan officers seem to work from a checklist that makes no allowance for individual circumstances. Ten-plus pages would be an unusually large federal tax return. Ask the loan officer what specific schedules or forms he is looking for, and why he thinks they should be included in your tax return. If the schedules or forms that they are asking for are not in your tax return, you might have to ask to talk to someone who knows more about tax returns, or you might have to find a different lender.
The federal tax return consists of Form 1040 (2 pages) and additional IRS schedules and forms. The government and TurboTax worksheets are not part of your tax return, and do not get sent to the IRS when you file your tax return.
