IRS starts accepting returns on Jan 23 2023.
Because you filed BEFORE the IRS opened the filing season your returns will remain in the PENDING status until the IRS picks up the return from the "holding pool" on the TT servers and either accepts the return for processing or rejects it. The state return will not go thru until the federal return has been accepted since they "piggy back" on the federal. There is nothing you can do to speed up the process and you CANNOT make any changes to either return while it is pending.
The IRS finally announced on Friday that processing of returns will start on 1/23/23 as expected. In the coming week the IRS will pull a few (not all) of the returns from the various holding pools from all the income tax services to TEST their efile system. If your return gets pulled in a test batch then you could get an acceptance or rejection notice prior to the 23rd however your return will still not start processing before the 23rd. Even when the efiling system officially opens it may take up to a week before the IRS drains the pool of the millions of pending returns from all the pooling servers and accepts them for processing or rejects them for cause.
And if your return has any CTC or EIC on it those returns do not start processing until mid February per the IRS rules. So patience is a virtue and must be exercised often especially when the government is a party to the issue.
