The IRS releases most refunds within 21 calendar days after the e-file has been accepted, not 21 days from the e-filing date. For mailed returns, allow 5-6 weeks from the postmark date.

when i go on the irs.gov it suppose to show the steps when i go on wheres my refund but it just says check after feb.15

If you are filing EIC, they will start processing those refunds as of today with the earliest being the week of February 27 that people will begin receiving those refunds. Check back tomorrow on Where's my refund. If it has been 21 days since it has been accepted, you will want to contact the IRS at the number above.
