what e-mail. if you're asking about acceptance/rejection e-mail it's too early to e-file. the IRS won't open e-filing until late January. TT will open sooner but the return just sits on its servers until the IRS opens up. thus many filers who file ASAP start worrying because they won't get the e-mail until a day or 2 after TT submits the return. also know that if there's a problem, you can not recall it and if it's accepted then you have to file an amended return.
Maybe you mean the stimulus email? We started calling customers today that did not open their email about the stimulus.
Here is a copy:
We are happy to share that stimulus payments will begin to be deposited starting January 8th. We expect most payments to be available that day, but your bank could take a few business days to process. Your payment will be deposited into the same bank account that you received your 2019 tax refund.
We have been working tirelessly with the Treasury and IRS to get your stimulus payment to you. We know how important these funds are for so many Americans and we regret that an IRS error caused a delay in you receiving your stimulus payment.
