When will Amended Return Area Be ready?

Trying to Amend 2020 return and getting Amended Return Area will be ready soon.

The amended form in TurboTax until 3/25/21 (subject to change). The IRS needs to approve TurboTax's form before they can include the form in the software. The IRS suggests you wait until your original return is fully processed before you amend a return.

I did my sons taxes early Feb, but missed the checkbox on the screen that asks if he became deaf or died, where it states someone else can claim you. Oddly, the next screen was about him going to college so it seems it would have checked that...but my fault. Soooo...I cannot do my taxes until his are corrected, as it kicks it back because he stated nobody can claim him.

Taxes are soooo fun 🙂

Is there a better answer besides waiting?

The current scheduled date of release is March 26th; however, this is an estimate. As you can imagine, all the last second changes and "moving the goalposts" by Congress, the IRS, and the states are throwing all schedules out the window.
