When printing out my Hawaii state tax to mail Form 2106 prints the year 2017 not 2018. not sure why.

The 2106 is a Federal (IRS) tax form. Hawaii did not conform to the tax law changes in this area for 2018, so the 2017 version of the IRS form is used for Hawaii tax purposes.
