Mailed 2015 taxes March 29 2017. Receiving refund when will funds be direct deposited. Is there a penalty?

Now ... you do not need to wait on the 2015 return. When you complete the FILE tab use a single ZERO for the AGI since you filed late.

Expect the return to take 6 weeks or more to process and there is no penalty for filing late since you have a refund.
