What should I do if I entered the wrong account and routing number for direct deposit? It says my return was sent to the bank on 3-26-25, but my bank hasn't received it

What should I do if I entered the wrong account and routing number for direct deposit? It says my return was sent to the bank on 3-26-25, but my bank hasn't received it
If you've already filed and your return has been accepted (or mailed), it's too late to change your bank account for direct deposit.
- If your bank does not accept the deposit, it will be returned to the IRS, and a paper check will go to your last known address. Probably the one on your tax return,
- If you wish to contact the IRS, you can call toll-free at 800-829-1040
