I thought that I chose to have my refund sent to me on a card and not a check or direct deposit.. when I check irs.gov it says my refund has been sent to the bank.. I don't have a bank account
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
We are not able to see your information on your return. You can use these steps to view the Federal Information worksheet & State Information worksheet with your actual banking information (routing and account number) on it to see what bank your refund is going to.
1. Login to your TurboTax account, Click on "Tax Home" (left side of the screen).
2. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents, Click on "Show"
3. Click on "Add a state" (You are not really adding a state; This just allows you to open your return.)
4. Click on "Tax Tools" and then "Print Center" (left side of the screen).
5. Check boxes next to "2017 federal and state returns".
6. Click on "Print all forms and worksheets".
Part V of the federal worksheet has the refund method for federal
refund.
Part VI of the federal worksheet has the refund method for state refund.
Or you can use these steps to check for that information on your return.
1. Login to your TurboTax
account, Click on "Tax Home"
(left side of the screen).
2; Scroll down to "Your tax returns & documents", and Click on "Show".
3. Click on "Add a state". (You are not really adding a state; This just allows you to open your return.)
4. Click on "File" (left side of the screen).
5. Click on "View or print your return" on the "Great job on your taxes!" screen.
This will open the return in a
new window and on the first page which is the TurboTax worksheet for Electronic
Filing instructions, it will tell you if you chose Turbo Prepaid Card or a
different method in the Balance Due/Refund section at top of the page. It will
be in the same place on Electronic Filing page for state return.
