What is the amend process
what is the amend process once i click amend? what pops up and what happens? can i email an amend or it has to be done through paper?

An amended return must be paper filed through the mail.
Once you click the Amend button (which is not available for 2017 quite yet) you will see your refund or amount due set back to $0. You will then come to a screen which will allow you to choose which details you need to add. The rest of it looks pretty much like the original interview. Once you get to the end it will look like you can continue through and e-file. However, you must print and mail the return.
