WHAT HAPPENED TO MY REFUND

I KEEP SEEING EVERYONE TALKING ABOUT GETTING ROBBED BY TURBOTAX FOR THEIR REFUND AND I BELIEV THE SAME THING HAS HAPPENED TO ME!!. I FILED THE SAME WAY I DID LAST YEAR BUT FOR SOME REAON THIS YEAR ITS SAYING THAT MY DEPENDENT AND THE SS NUMBER ARE OFF AND THATS WHY I GOT LESS THAN A 3RD OF WHAT MY REFUND WAS SUPPOSED TO BE!! I CONTACTED SUPPORT AND THEY TOLD ME TO CALL THE IRS. I CALL THE IRS AND THEY NEVER ANSWER. IVE CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES DAY AFTER DAY AND JUST KEEP GETTING SENT TO AN ANSWERING MACHINE AND BEING TOLD TO TRY BACK AT ANOTHER TIME!!! I WANT SOME ANSWERS

That is usually the list of generic reasons they give if they changed the Recovery rebate credit on line 30.  How much is on 1040 line 30?

Do you have an amount on 1040 line 30 for the Recovery rebate credit?   Did you not get the 3rd Stimulus payment?  Or qualify for more?  Line 30 is only if you didn't get the full amount or qualify for more.

If the IRS thinks they sent it to you but you didn't get it request a trace for a missing third Stimulus payment

Yes I was supposed to get 1,600 because i did not recieve the full amount when they sent it
