What do I did if my 2020 taxes I had prepared by turbo tax have never been filed at all? It shows they were accepted but there is zero record of them:

Does your TurboTax online account show that your 2020 e-file was accepted?  Have you tried calling the IRS about it?  If you e-filed a 2020 return, you did that in 2021---and now it is 2024.   What have you done so far to follow through on the 2020 refund that you thought you would receive three years ago?   If in fact you did not file the return, now it is too late----the deadline to file a 2020 return and receive a refund is past.   If you actually filed and the IRS accepted the return, you need to talk with the IRS and see what happened.  Maybe the refund needs to be traced.

Listen to each menu before making the selection.

First choose your language. Press 1 for English.

Then do NOT choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.

Instead, press 2 for "personal income tax".

Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".  

Then press 3 "for all other questions."

Then press 2 "for all other questions."  It should then transfer you to an agent.
