Was my federal return accepted

I filed my return on April 8th. I didn't get notification that it was accepted. I'm not getting a refund because I owe, but I was checking on the status of my stimulus check and it says they're still trying to determine my eligibility. So I just want to make sure that my federal return was accepted or what may be going on with it. Because I know I'm eligible for the stimulus money.

Did you e-file?  Did you click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Thank you. I just checked on turbo tax and it said my federal return and my state return was accepted. So I went to irs.gov and it still says they can't determine my eligibility (for the stimulus payment) or the info I entered was incorrect. Maybe my federal is still processing? I'm just not sure how long that takes.
