My bank account was closed and I have Direct DEPOSIT what happens now with my refund?

Warm update says check will be mailed by3-15-19.  Does anyone know if I’ll get sooner? Do they mail only fridays still?

I don’t know how to check if it’s been mailed or anything.. I called my bank on the 6th and they said that they rejected it and sent it back on the first.. so does anyone know what my next step should be ? Should I call anyone or just wait ?

Alic- I was able to check mine and it said mine would be mailed out on the 13th ..

K so I did if in 2017 it took about 9 days including weekends to get the check in the mail from the day of deposit. The state also sent a bill for sending me the check of $15 I only got $40 and they got $15 lol. The federal check took 5 days and they didn't charge me anything.

Homeless$!35.. did your refund get rejected my bank then sent back to irs and what date are u purfuring to the new mail date or the direct deposit date that u had before check was rejected

Ok so on the deposit date was 2/06 it went to the closed account and sent right back it only took maybe an hour to go back. It's all electronic so just by pushing buttons. So the federal IRS got it on the same day 2/06 then I got it in the mail 2/12/18 so it only took 6 days from the day they got it. But the state deposit I had no way to know until they actually got the deposit back cause they won't tell you if you get electronic deposit. But it wasnt long I got it on 2/14/18 so I guess it was only 8 days

Homeless$!35 great to know because I’ve called my back to try and get them to re accept my refund but it was to late it was already on its way to irs this was the 26 th so I should give it till about March 10 I should have a check crossing fingers my process will be as smooth as yours I’ve been calling the irs every day now trying to figure out wats going on I had one representative tell me a process of 5 weeks and then got another one that told me up to 3 weeks hopefully 10 days at most no more than 2 weeks ???

I just got my check in the mail but the bank sent it to me. I wont lie i owed the bank 200$ buck that why the account was close but the irs did send the money so the bank open the account and took there 200$ and sent me a check for the balance it took 1 day for me too get it

Donnie432.. great yours happen that way but your bank was generous enough to open your account mine was sent back to the irs because I did not activate my card in enough time

Update !! I called Santa Barbara bank and they told me my check was issued out today should have it in couple of days
