Hello all,
I have already filed and got my return sorted when i recieved a W-2c from my employer because the retirement plan box was not checked.
I do not have an IRA or contibute to the 401k(employer adds some money to it but i do not)
as far as i know i shouldn’t be required to amend my return because it appears the return amounts should not change at all but i wanted to make sure
do i have to file an amended tax return?

No, you don't need to amend for that as long as you, and your spouse if this is a joint return, don't contribute to an IRA during the year.
Do keep the W-2C with your records for the three year period required by law.
