Using TT 2017. Need to also amend my 2016 return. How do I open the 2016 TT "program" to do the amendment? Do I reload the 2016? Can I have both 2016 and 2017 loaded?

I assume when l load the newest Turbotax program, the program for the previous year gets overwritten?

If you are using the CD/downloaded version of TurboTax, you can have multiple years installed at the same time.

When you install another year’s version of the program your previous year’s version is not overwritten.  The previous year should still be there unless you uninstalled it yourself.
