TurboTax says the my Federal refund was accepted by the IRS, but the IRS still says my refund is pending? Is this something to be concerned about?

Once your return has been accepted, Turbo Tax will not receive any status update on the return. 

You can view your status on the Where's My Refund website here. 

Most taxpayers will receive their refund within 21 days after acceptance.

However, TurboTax told me that my refund was accepted, when it HAS NOT BEEN YET ACCEPTED BY IRS. That’s my question. Why is TurboTax saying my refund was accepted, when it has not been accepted yet according to the IRS. Nice try though.

Is the Where's My Refund? tool saying that your return is still pending? Or did you speak with a representative from the IRS who confirmed this information?
