MIP deduction. I did the amendment, do I need to send anything else besides the 1040X? the new 1098? Also, there's NO change for State, do I need to send that out anyway?

You only need to send form 1040X (the amended return).

If there is no change in your state tax, you do not need to send the amended state tax return.

Turbotax generated a new 1040 as well, should I send it along with the 1040X?

No. You should only send the amended return (form 1040X).

What about my MIP updated 1098 with the MIP? Should I send it with the 1040X?

No, there is no need. The IRS has a copy of the 1098 which was filed by the bank.
