Did you try the work-around I suggested on page 6 of this thread (and in earlier pages)?
Yes got it to work that way
Yes. The workaround let me save a PDF and print from there.
I am having the same issue - thank you for pointing out the workaround by using preview and then clicking the little ink bottle.
same issue for me on a Macintosh. exporting to pdf does not work. Print option makes the turbotax program crash
save to pdf, print or preview are not working for me at all
Crashes for me when choosing preview
Everyone should try running all software updates on the Mac. If your system won't take the latest OS, maybe try installing TurboTax on a different Mac, or maybe even download and install on a Windows PC then try and print.
I moved to a new Mac mini running latest sequoia 15 macOS and printing works fine now.
Thanks for the info- unfortunatley I have an older Mac and cannot update to Seqouia. I am running the latest version of Ventura. Anybody else have any suggestions?
Can you do a "File" then "Save as" a PDF? Then print the PDF.
Thanks- but I also tried that several times. Even tried it with Intuit tech support on the line with me. Could not create a PDF file or any type of file.
I also have older Mac (2017) running Ventura (no further operating systems will work on this computer). That said, this version of Turbo Tax states that it does run on Ventura; maybe they needed to qualify that for older machines. It appears that they are not motivated to spend time fixing things for these older machines. Next year may be time for different software (I will be getting new Mac by then).
That’s where I was (2017 iMac on Ventura) until I acquired a new Mac mini M4. Sweet! And pretty reasonably priced…
I think there might be a difference for folks depending on whether they have already SAVED the file. The "print preview" workaround did work for me but only AFTER I had saved the file. When I first tried, when I had just finished the taxes, selected Print Preview just crashed the program. I hadn't thought about that being the reason, but since it's placing all the files in the wrong folder (e.g 2023), I'd bet that's a potential issue. My guess is that it's looking for the files in a 2024 folder, which it had "forgotten" to create during installation. As a result, it crashes in the search. After it has saved once, it can follow it's own crumbs back to where it is?? Does that even make sense? I'm not a programmer, but I've been around since Turbo Tax was a tiny baby (1994ish?).
