I filed a 1040 through turbo tax on 2/18/21 with a refund of $1903
I received the refund on 2/24/21 from the IRS of $1903
Today I incidentally was looking at turbo tax and it
now shows a refund of......................................................................$5141
This is a difference of .......................................................................$3238
I looked at my 2/18/2021 filing and it is the same as my today (3/8/2021) turbo tax. Nothing has changed except for the refund amount.
What went wrong and now how do I get the additional $3238?

Please print them both out and look line by line. If using TT desktop, have you been running regular updates? Or perhaps doing What If Scenarios? Is the $3238 a state refund? Did you ask to have part of your 2020 Federal refund applied against 2021?
I found what happened. The program had put back in the COVID money which we had already received. Why the program did this is beyond me. In the process I was going through it once again, and the had program corrected itself.
