Would like to point out that Fed 1040-SR asks check box if "born before January 2, 1958" -- my birthday is Feb. 1, 1958 so the Federal form doesn't let me take the 65 or older exemption. However Illinois 1040 says check box if 65 or older. Turbo tax didn't catch that distinction and I missed out on the $1000 exemption.
The MyTaxIllinois online filing got me a better refund than Turbo Tax.
Was using 2022 Turbo Tax Deluxe for fed & state filing.
I'm glad I made comparison.
