TurboTax does receive any type of tax refund, federal or state.

If you selected to have your tax refund directed deposited then you had to enter the bank routing and account number.  This information is sent with your tax return.  The IRS will direct deposit the refund to bank account you entered.

Or did you request to have the TurboTax account fees paid from the federal tax refund?
