Hello, when I was filing my taxes on Turbo Tax, I must have accidentally applied for their debit card while trying to get an advance refund. However, I do NOT want this debit card. I am moving shortly and I will not be using it at all. I already have a debit card through my bank. Is there any way to cancel it?

Unfortunately, once you have made that selection and filed you cannot change that selection. once you receive your card and your refund you may be able to contact customer service on the card to cancel the card then.
What if customer service never answers your call???
Unfortunately, you have to just keep trying, keeping in mind that this is a very busy time of year.
I am calling about the debit card not the Turbo Tax tax filing products, I can understand the tax line being busy but not the debit card line. I have read too many stories about erroneous charges being made to a cardholder's account with no recourse for said cardholder. I want to avoid being a victim.
We are sorry you have concerns over getting your debit card. Please reach out to Customer Support. Some people have reported not pressing 1 as an option when calling. You can try that and see if you are able to get through. This is a busy time of year.
