TT is asking: "Is an amended schedule hi-144, household income, attached?" I would like TT to help me generate one, so shall I answer “yes” or “no” on that question?

I just started to file an extension for Vermont.

How shall I answer above question in TT?  "YES"  or "NO"

Unless you are "Amending" Schedule hi-144 (which is uncommon)  - you should answer that question "No". 

That question is unrelated to filing an "Extension" 

After answering No to the question re an Amendment - you can use Turbo Tax to help you prepare an extension for your Vermont return.
