Third stimulus check

So on the 2019 tax refunds I accidentally filed as a dependent so I didn’t receive the first or second stimulus check. I just filed my 2020 tax refund and I’m getting the first and second stimulus check due to the recovery option. I didn’t get the third stimulus but will I get it now since I’m filed as a independent and just filed my 2020 taxes?

You should eventually, assuming you really qualify as Independent.  The IRS is sending out Stimulus #3 payments in batches, and will take a few weeks to complete them all.  This one comes to you separately (and automatically), not as part of your 2020 tax refund.  You can check the status here:

So my payment so unavailable. Does this have to do with me filing my taxes after the third stimulus check was issued? Filed my taxes like the first week of April. Will it get to me soon or will I have to claim it on my 2021 taxes?
