If my refund on the IRS website says still processing does it mean I will be audited?

@tabrina89 I have called but have no time for being on hold forever because I work over 50 hour work weeks. It's not in my account sadly. But I have been told by others to wait until tomorrow to start freaking out.

Yeah we contacted a tax advocate today and she looked into our account , and actually gave us more insight ... As far as she seen everything was correct and all of our income and everything was put in correct don't know why we was told different.   they still have 45 days tho according to her ... :( just doesn't make sense to me at all.

I just talked to an advocate that said nothing wrong with my return it is still just processing because of the credits I am receiving.  She said to check tomorrow after 3pm and give it a week before I call back or be concerned.  Nothing about a letter or extended review process or identity.  She said they are reviewing more returns for people who owe money to be sure they are not trying to get out of paying the whole amount they owe.  More people lie about that than refund. So she said.... I am trying to be patient....

Ok...so they say irs sending a letter...you get letter call number they provide answer all question proving you are you and they say ok 9weeks you will get your refund lmao just messed up we can't win for losing

Found out today my taxes after bars dissapeared is in 45 day review status. Spoke to a agent she knew nada. Talked to advocate they are verifying my income. It seems like another gov scam to keep ur money. They couldnt even guarantee a letter in mail before april 1st explaining review. I have audit protection with t.t. and cant do nothing till irs sends info. Fml

It's funny how there's an internet scam going on with the taxes and depositing tax money in fraudulent accounts and a lady calling people asking for the money to be wired back to her, but our shit gets held for an additional 45 days with no explanation or indication of why.

I've got a tax advocate now. We shall see what they say. This is crazy they are holding so many people up ,and not giving anyone information is what is so aggervating for every one it's something to be worried about. Its our money geeze.

I find it weird that when I called I was told I was under review, but from what I understand if I was truly under review isn't WMR supposed to show that?  I've seen people but up screen shots where it clearly says they are under review for one reason or another. Mine just still says processing....Soo I'm curious as to what's really going on.

I was told by advocates that processing could truly mean that.  They may not have even looked at your file yet to know if it needs any further action.  They gave had my return since 1/24.  She told me not to panic and to wait 1-2 weeks before I call back. At this time she said it doesn’t mean anything..... so strange how there is only one organized process on how to file but so many hundreds of answers on what may or may not be going on with OUR money...
