The irs states than an amendment is being processed for my tax return. I may have mistakenly chose to amend. How do I remove this request?

I followed instruction from the website but unfortunately not able to open the return.

If IRS "Amended Return Status" shows "RECEIVED", you can't cancel that.

You'll have to wait for the results.

It's pretty hard to file an amendment accidently.
