The irs has not taken my payment yet. What is the status?

Did you indicate a date for them to take out your tax due? If you did not specify a date it will default to the tax filing deadline of April 17, 2018

and sometimes even then, then do not take it until a few days later. That's why I personally prefer to pay directly on the IRS website.,
