Solved: The IRS can't detect the absence of these forms at filing...

I didn't know I had to file a 1099-R with my taxes, I have already filed an have been accepted. Will the irs fix this and will I get in trouble for my mistake?

The IRS can't detect the absence of these forms at filing, but will likely catch them later on down the road, when you'd face not only the additional tax liability, but also penalties and interest.

So, unfortunately, you'll need to amend your return.
