It appears that I was finally able to resolve both issues and get them accepted by the IRS but the messages were confusing and didn’t make much sense. Just had to keep going over certain sections until it finally worked. Thanks everyone.
How do I know what my issue is if they say I haven't been rejected? I'm literally lost about the whole situation! @wickham732
@wickham732 What did you have to do to get it accepted?
I made sure the software did all the updates and then i ran a review for errors and had none...then i resubmitted and within 2 hours got accepted by the IRS. I hope that helps...the worst thing is that i cannot connect with anybody at turbotax...worst customer service...
On one I had to go through stock sale/capital gains and answer a few more questions.
the other one was a weird message about first time homeowner credit repayment which totally did not apply to my sister. However Clicked on help and typed it in the topic search and then “jumped” to that section (where it never took me initially); answered a question saying the credit was never received. Resubmitted and it has now been accepted by IRS.
Try calling 800-446-8848 however if it has been transmitted and in pending they really could not help me. Told me I just had to wait but I did speak with a person.
Call 800-446-8848 and they can confirm that it has been transmitted. If it is pending too long it will probably reject but hopefully turbo tax can help you review/repair and refile.
