Tax Year Prior to 2020: Will my stimulus check get deposited in my turbo tax prepaid card account ??

I think it's quite obvious that no one at this company knows and can only offer the same generic response over and over. Probably have better luck contacting the IRS. I threw my turbo tax card away after withdrawing my refund so Idk if I need to request a new card or what....

Have there been any updates as of yet? People everywhere are showing pending deposits but we have nothing. We need to know what to do.

• As a previous comment stated, I believe they’re trying to go in order of lowest income to highest is what it seems like. I could see this being true, as to the lower income people may need it a little faster due to the lower income. I believe Monday will be a big change in events for people who have a prepaid green dot card through turbo tax.

I have gotten direct deposited to my bank this year . My question is will have to update the information with the IRS because last year when I filed it was different information for my bank?

wrong. my dd is on file and i will get a paper check. you keep posting bull**bleep** you must work for turbotax... if not they should hire you. you fit in well.

The IRS did a test batch of DD to see if the system was working properly and some  people have been posting that they got notices that the money was sent but would not be released until 4/15   ... expect more DD to follow on Monday.

If you have already filed a 2019 return there is nothing you can do until something happens on the IRS side… and they are ahead of schedule which is evidenced by the test deposits some saw on Friday. 

If you get the DD in the next 2 weeks then you are done. 

If you do not get the DD by the time the IRS finally opens the promised portal (now expected by 4/17) then you can track and  update your information at that time.    https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments

EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE PATIENT AS THE IRS PUTS TOGETHER A SECURE SYSTEM FOR MILLIONS TO USE SAFELY  WHILE STILL PROCESSING RETURNS  DURING A PANDEMIC.  I THINK THEY ARE DOING A GREAT JOB (SINCE THEY ARE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE) DURING A TRYING TIME ... PATIENCE WILL BE NEEDED BY ALL.
