Tax Year Prior to 2020: If we filed with TurboTax, does the IRS have our bank information to have the stimulus direct deposited? Will we me the mailed recipients of the check?

I've already check the portal enough times to where they tell me I can't check back in 24 hours which is quite ridiculous cause you're supposed to be able to track it whenever you want and the 1st time they made me put banking information in after that they won't tell me anything

I just spoke with a TurboTax Specialist. she was able to tell me that the IRS did not have DD info for me even though my refund was DD to my TurboTax card... Go into the chat on your Intuit profile and keep saying u need to speak to a person... I am now waiting for a paper check that will be issued by the first week of May. Because I too, can not access my info on the WHERES MY PAYMENT TOOL...

It's irritating and it isn't  The same answer I keep getting from everybody is your stimulus will go to the same place your refund wet by yet the IRS doesn't have the same information I gave them when I filed for my return makes no  sense  Either way I already put my Turbo card information on the portal, I did it yesterday, This should be interesting

I'm not really sure but I believe that if you got the turbo tax card for the loan on your refund it doesn't have your DD info and have to enter it on the tax website.

As long as you don’t owe any back pay for child support.

My niece got an advance and the IRS website showed her ss# for direct deposit information. She figured she was f#№$#$ but she got hers on her TurboTax card yesterday. So I can't figure it out.

If you owe back child support they will take whatever you owe out of your stimulus payment. But, if you just pay child support they will NOT take your stimulus.

If you have a turbo card and had your fees taken out of your refund, you will need to go to the irs tracker called get my payment and enter your bank information. Then it will tell you that you will get an update with a deposit date when you log back in, but you should wait a few days to check back because it will not update that quickly. No one knows what order they are sending payments. It's just random. I would say it will be before May because that's when checks will begin to be mailed out. Another thing, you can't really blame Turbotax because why and how would they know the government would be sending everyone a stimulus check. We should all be patient because the money will arrive.
