What does the date next to each tax code on your transcript mean?

Is it the date that the IRS entered that tax code, or the date that the code will be resolved?

I have a code of 570 with a date of 03/07/22 (which was 2 days ago)

and then

a code of 971 with a future date of 03/14/22

I understand that the 570 is a hold, and the 971 is a notice being sent.

The IRS will send you a letter regarding the codes you are showing. If you would like additional information regarding the codes prior to receiving the letter, please contact the IRS directly.

I appreciate the response, but I am more trying to figure out the dates following each code. What do the dates signify?
