I had to fill out a 8962 form (don't know why turbotax didn't have me do it when I did my taxes... I was told by IRS that it will take 6-8 weeks till I get my refund... well, I'm going on 9 weeks and I have no clue on what to do to see what's going on. Where's my refund app has been saying the same thing since I first submitted my taxes back in early February no one in the IRS is taking any calls and I haven't received anything in the mail. I don't think I made a mistake on the 8962 form but I honestly do not know. I called IRS after each question and followed what they said. I have basic taxes, just a job and the only credit I applied for was the EITC.

It depends.

The online link is your best option to track your refund.  I have attached a link with more answers from the IRS as to why your refund may be taking longer to process.

Federal refund questions

There is a delay in processing the returns as the IRS is not processing paper returns at the moment due to Covid-19 and social distancing policies in effect.
