Tax refund and stimulus

Im in ssdi and as of today 4/7 i still have not received my stimulus or my tax refund. I file with turbo tax every year but the past 2 years have had problems getting my tax return and now no stimulus!! Very frustrated as for i need to pay rent!! You cant reach the irs to get a answer from anyone!

Yes, The IRS have backlog of income tax returns to be processed due to forms needed to be updated and/or processing of stimulus payments. The IRS started processing electronically filed income tax returns on a first in, first out basis in February 12, 2021  The refunds are processed within 21 business days after IRS acceptance of the electronically filed return.

If you haven't received your federal refund, you can check the IRS website under Refunds tab to check the status of your return
